Your saved shelf
Saved book identifiers are stored in localStorage in your browser under the key mybooksindex.saved.v1. They are not sent to a MyBooksIndex database. You can remove books individually, clear your shelf, or clear the site’s data in your browser.
Search
Search and genre filtering happen in your browser. Search terms can appear in the page URL so that you can share or return to a filtered view. Like other requested URLs, that URL may appear in hosting logs.
Hosting and external sites
The hosting service may process ordinary technical information needed to serve and protect the site, such as IP addresses and request logs. This version does not add advertising pixels or third-party analytics scripts. Book covers are served from this site rather than requested from publishers as you browse.
Buying and source links open external sites. Those services have their own privacy and cookie policies. We do not receive your payment details.
